Gorgeous paintings tower on the walls…the most cherished, one of the lady of the house, was painted by the late world-renowned Sheila Devine. A blazing fireplace with mirrored walls, make this a joyous surrounding. Twinkling lights accentuate the hues of the wedge-wood walls and the large tiled floor below in a royal design that can also be seen in Empress Carlotta’s castle in Chapultepec. A brilliant technique utilized by artisans since time began…etched here is a handsome bustier of the master and owner of the villa, Alexander. A tribute from his painter Miriam brilliantly depicts him as a composer who orchestrated master craftsmen to keep his grandmother’s legendary home alive for eternity. In Mexico, for a lad just out of college, this can be a taxing, almost insurmountable task, yet you will see he has achieved his desire like a Prince with a dexterous finesse and grace. This was Alexander’s room. Candelaria always introduces herself to local taxis as "Maria Felix sin trensas"...without braids! Steve Mcqueen's son, Chad, could also be seen on his shoot hovering by one foot out of a helicopter over Playa Conchas Chinas, as "Silver" was being featured by her neighbor Alan Carr as a ravishing lady of the night... Another of her favorite treasures, a blue piano, can be seen in the move "Revenge", with Kevin Costner and Anthony Quinn. An ample library of leather bound French Classics, from Cervantes to Marat Sade, govern heavy leaded glass shelves and surely make this room great for writers, computers, or contemplation. McGrail, a Buddhist, jumped from his old red truck and painted the Brahman in Tuito in the moonlight! Alexander has totally refurbished this room with mirrored walls over a working gas fireplace with an oblong crystalline chandelier making the entire abode an infinitesimal kismet of color! The bathroom's mosaic sink, the blue sunken tub, and shower are sheer glamour for the late night lovers. The transcendental wedge wood painted celestial color and mirrored shelves give an angelic repose... yet, the room has a definite masculine ambiance to it, most conducive to a writer or artist who treasures his space and solitude.
