Boasting luscious stripes of black ribbon and chartreuse, with ornate inlays of gold and white swans and angels, apexed by painted cherubs and wooden stays securing a large brass chandelier on the painted wedge wood blue ceiling above, the Green Room is art in and of itself. Pastel cherubs painted by the renowned artist Manuel Lepe, deemed by most to to be one of Mexico's top artists sprinkle the vista above artfully connecting to a luminescent, frontal, stained glass window. Two expansive Botero paintings loom beguilingly over a 15th Century iron bed... the very one used in the film Harvest's love scenes with actor Mario Van Peebles and Christopher Lambert. Steve Mcqueen's son, Chad, could also be seen on his shoot hovering by one foot out of a helicopter over Playa Conchas Chinas, as "Silver" was being featured by her neighbor Alan Carr as a ravishing lady of the night... Another of her favorite treasures, a blue piano, can be seen in the move "Revenge", with Kevin Costner and Anthony Quinn. An ample library of leather bound French Classics, from Cervantes to Marat Sade, govern heavy leaded glass shelves and surely make this room great for writers, computers, or contemplation. Gorgeous pinewood French shutters make privacy a priority, and both the Green Room and Scarlet have access to the full Kitchenette and dining room below.
